How State and Duke Compare (via StatSheet.com)
  NCSU   Duke
RPI #49   #2
Strength of Schedule #58   #2
Overall 18-7   21-4
Conference 7-3   8-2
Home 12-4   11-2
Away 4-2   5-1
Top 25 0-4   5-2
RPI Top 50 1-5   6-4

Not much to really say about this that hasn’t already been said. Duke naturally leads State in virtually every category.

The area that State does hold a slight advantage over the Blue Devils is in Offensive Rebounding Percentage, and that’ll be a huge key tonight. As we saw in the Miami/UNC game last night, UNC’s poor shooting was offset by the fact they were able to crash the boards and get second opportunities. If the Pack can get a higher percentage of their misses than Duke by a sizable margin, it could help State negate a lot of the defensive pressure State will face.

statsheet is great but aren’t we 2-5 against RPI top 50 with wins over Miami and Texas? (now 2-6 after that debacle today)
