More Fancy Charts About Points, Rebounds, A/TO and Offensive Efficiency

Since I need some practice with these new jQuery charts, I figured there’s no better practice than to just put together a collection of charts about this team.

What follows are charts with the statistical breakdown of the main rotation that coach Gottfried has settled on: the starting five, plus Alex Johnson and DeShawn Painter off the bench. I limited the charts to four: points per game, rebounds per game, assist-to-turnover ratio and offensive efficiency.

If you like these numbers, let me know. The percentages probably change much the rest of the way, but it might be fun to keep tabs on it as the team goes through the toughest stretch of its schedule.

    why is Johnson’s offensive efficiency so high?

      I would guess it’s a function of limited minutes. I would guess we’d see him normalize a bit with increased court time.

    these charts are great.   i am like someone who goes to a fireworks show, becomes hypnotized and in the trance says:   preeeetttyyyy.

      LOL, yeah. Still searching for a way to whittle that down to about one or two, not a bazillion.

    where does the OE come from? Scott Wood is ranked second nationally in OE on kenpom’s site. (sorry for the double post. just saw the edit button)
