When they don’t make it onto your team’s media guides, typos can be fun:
The missing "P" stood for "pride."
i really dislike it when atheletes use the word “war” in referencing a game. players, its not a war not matter how rough the game gets or how hard one plays.
If our players were rallying around the concept of “war” heading into this game, they laid down faster than the French.
Bo Ryan: “Bonjour, ya cheese-eatin’ surrender monkeys!”
i have to agree with the article which precedes this one at this site wherein the coaching of Lowe is questioned. it should be. when the coach at UVA, who has a younger and less talented team, gets much more from his team, one has to wonder why Lowe is unable to do so.
this team needs a leader and i am disappointed that Javi is not providing leadership.
i have read a number of post at blogs inwhich the posters think like me: the refs really favored Wisconsin. i felt the same way in the George Mason game. i saw a number of clear walks and at least one palming violation by Wisconsin players not called. plus fouls not called. do State players really foul that much more than their opponents? if referees are favoring State’s opponents, the question is why? its not the reason State lost the game, but its difficult for young players to not get discouraged when the game isn’t called evenly. guess it gets them ready for facing Duke and UNC.
its not the reason State lost
forgot to delete that last sentence which became misplaced when i edited the my post. so sad.
The question eating at me from last night is why are the majority of the players on our team hanging their heads and playing with so little life SIX GAMES into the season? For a group of star studded freshmen to completely roll over and play dead after all the talk and excitement about putting on the uniform in the past few months is really discouraging. The fact that Gonzalez makes more freshman mistakes than the freshmen is totally disgusting to me and the fact he remained in the game after repeatedly screwing up with ill advised passes and stupid shot selection angers me even more. Wood and Howell appeared to be the only ones playing last night with their heads screwed on straight. Not that I ever endorse anything that transpires over at the hill, but last night was one of the perfect times to clear the bench and send a message to the studs and duds that that effort was unacceptable. The fact that effort was tolerated by our coach and coaches makes me want to spit fire. On to the Orange.
