State golf coach Richard Sykes must have a serious hankerin’ for maple syrup these days…seems he’s been spending a lot of time north of the border stocking his team with the best talent Canada has to offer.

Albin Choi (not sure why the headline on the story says ‘Adam’) is the latest Wolfpack golfer to come from the Great White North. Matt Hill of Bright’s Grove, Ontario won a national title last year and turned pro this year, and Mitchell Sutton of London, Ontario joined the squad in 2009. Choi is also from London, Ontario, and proved his mettle this past weekend in winning the Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship.

We’ve got a couple of Canadian chicks on the women’s team, too. What an odd pipeline.

Indeed. One filled with round bacon and unwanted Barenaked Ladies CDs.
