RALEIGH — The N.C. State athletic training staff conducted a joint drill with Wake County EMS today at Carter-Finley Stadium as preparation for the upcoming football season…

I’ll give the football folks credit…at least they’re getting out ahead of the trend this season.

Eventually, the sadness goes so far in the opposite direction it becomes funny again…kinda like heading so far west you end up back in the east. Right?

i’d like to see a story on how they are preventing injuries. or if that’s even possible.

    not for nc state apparently.

It’d be photos of that nutcase from Montana or whatever who built his own bear-proof suit. Just with State logos all over it.

It’s sad but very true. Most of the time you think of injuries as freak accidents that you can’t help, but when they come in the numbers they do for the Pack I’m starting to wonder. I don’t really know how some of them could be prevented, but there’s has to be some extra conditioning that could take place.

Does anyone know if this is/was a common TOB theme? Did any of his BC teams have this problem?

After year-two of this, I think a lot of folks started looking back to see if the BC program experienced this as well, and if I recall they did not. So Tom’s just feeling his way through the Valvano Curse I guess OH HELL YEAH I WENT THERE.
